Paterno has no health concerns

The family of Penn State Nittany Lions head coach Joe Paterno said that rumors about health issues are completely lies and simply not true.

The rumors allege that Paterno is suffering from some health issues and that he would step down after the team’s matchup against Florida in the Outback Bowl.

Paterno’s wife said that the head coach is supposedly in the hospital when in actuality he is sitting at their dinner table.

The head coach is set to wrap up his 45th season with Penn State and plans to coach through next year, the final one on his contract. ( Read More…)

Penn State falls to Michigan State, 28-22

The Penn State Nittany Lions rallied late but still fell short in a 28-22 loss to the Michigan State Spartans.

Penn State fell behind 21-3 by the end of the third quarter and then couldn’t dig themselves out from the deficit.

Inexperienced quarterback Matthew McGloin threw for 312 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.

Star running back Evan Royster lead the team’s ground attack with 85 yards rushing and a touchdown. ( Read More…)
