Penn State slowed by Florida, 37-24
The Penn State Nittany Lions couldn’t overcome turnovers in a 37-24 loss to the Florida Gators in the Outback Bowl.
Penn State was trailing by six points in the final minute and driving down the field for the game-winning score when a pass was intercepted and returned for a touchdown.
It was an ugly day for quarterback Matt McGloin, who tossed five interceptions but still didn’t get pulled from the game.
He did throw for 211 yards and a touchdown, but the team might have been better off turning to former starter Robert Bolden. ( Read More…)
